Willard Strauch
Willard W. Strauch, 88, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Sunday in St. Mary’s Villa nursing home, Elmhurst Twp.
Born in Scranton the son of the late Robert and Helen Kienle Strauch, he was educated in Scranton Public Schools. He worked at Consolidated Molded Products and also worked as the maintenance and grounds supervisor for many years at Strauch Funeral Home. He enjoyed Baseball, especially the New York Yankees, spending time at the South Side Senior Center and he also loved to dance.
He was preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Strauch, a twin Brother Edward and a brother Herbert.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00am in Corey Brian Strauch Services, LLC, funeral home location, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505. Interment with military honors to follow in Abington Hills Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Friday from 5-8pm in the funeral home.
