Valerie Rosengrant

Valerie Rosengrant, Lake Ariel, formerly of Throop, died Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Mountain View Care Center, Scranton. She is the wife of the late Lloyd Rosengrant who died in 2017.

Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Godak. She was a graduate of Throop High School and a member of Cortez United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter Valerie Gisinger and husband James; Step children Dennis Rosengrant and wife Elvira, Linda Matousek and husband Tom, Bill Rosengrant; a brother Stanley Godak and wife Doris; three grandchildren Ryan Gisinger, Justin Gisinger and wife Caitlyn, Collin Gisinger; three great grandchildren Kylie, Lucas, Mackenzie; seven step grandchildren Ed, Michael, Tom and James Rosengrant, Megan and Matt Matousek and Danielle Rosengrant ; one step great grandson Jacob DeWire; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday November 12, 2022 at 1 PM in the Cortez United Methodist Church, 967 Cortez Road, Jefferson Twp., PA 18436; with services by the Rev Art Yetter, pastor.

A visiting will be held 12 noon until 1pm in the church.
