Paul M Hoffman Sr., 69 of Scranton, passed away Thursday at Regional Hospital in Scranton. His wife of 24 years is the former Sherry A Long.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Otto Hoffman and Evelyn (Hulse) Hoffman. Paul attended West Scranton High. Received Act 120 training from Lackawanna Junior College. He was owner/operator of P&J Tire and most recently, Court Square Jewelry, Scranton. Paul enjoyed performing slight of hand card magic and had a fondness for tattoos. Paul had a kind, gentle and easy-going personality. He loved his family and they always came first. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. As a loving husband, father, and grandfather, family meant everything to Paul, and the memories he created with them will be cherished forever.
Paul was preceded in death by brothers, Otto and Edward Hoffman. Sister, Ruth Bloom.
Surviving are sons, Paul Hoffman Jr., Scranton, Jake and Jeffrey Hoffman at home. Daughters Joan Huertas, N. Carolina and Morgan Hoffman, Scranton. 8 grandchildren, Amelia Huertas, Ryan Vargas, Jackie, Jessie, Leslie and Al Jr. all of N Carolina. Jakobe and Julien Johnson of Scranton. 2 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter. Brother, William (Lillian) Hoffman and sister, Evelyn Christopher, JeffersonTwp. Nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 2, 2021, at 9:30am in the St. Peter’s Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., Scranton, PA 18503. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to Corey Brian Strauch Funeral Home, Scranton
