Mary M. Kimble

Mary Margaret Kimble, of Scranton, passed away, Sunday (Sept. 12, 2021) in Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. She is the widow of the late Harold Kimble who died November 5, 2012.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Stanley J. and Elsa L. Bleak Ogonowski, she was a graduate of Scranton Central High School. After many years of working for Bank of America in the customer service department she retired. She was a member of the Good Sheppard Episcopal Church, Scranton. She loved her community and her community loved her. Right from the start she fought to have the street light brought back in front of her house and to this day it shines bright each night.

Surviving are a daughter Jennifer Benfante and husband Len; a son Francis J. Jezorwski; a sister Janet Wilhauer; two brothers Stanley Ogonowski Jr. and wife Beverly and Paul Ogonowski and wife Shauna.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday at 11:00am in the Corey Brian Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505.
