Eleanor Breznay
Eleanor F. Breznay, 100, a former resident of Dunmore, died Jan. 23, at the Heartland Healthcare Center, Henry, Ill., while residing with her son. She was the widow of James Breznay.
Born in Dunmore, the daughter of the late Frank and Della Blenkner Hedglin, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School. She was a member of the Dunmore United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter Elaine Shemanski; a son, Paul D. Breznay; and a grandchild.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Dunmore United Methodist Church, 222 S. Blakley St., Dunmore. Interment to follow in the Dunmore Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Corey Brian Strauch Services LLC, funeral home location, 602 Birch St., Scranton.
