Delores Angerson, 75, of Clarks Summit formerly of Scranton died Monday morning at VNA Hospice at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. She is the widow of the late William Angerson who died in 1999.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Pierce Saar. For 25 years she worked for Mallard and Vermont Sportswear in Scranton and later was a home health aid with Home Instead. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Scranton.
Surviving are a two daughters Doreen Wince and her husband Michael, Scranton, Dorothy Powell and her husband Glenn, Saylorsburg; two sons Raymond Orchard and his wife Diane, Clarks Summit, Jeffrey Orchard and his wife Magdalena, Lake Ariel; a sister Etta Mae Reynolds, Nicholson; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Edward Saar.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:00am in the First United Church of Christ, 128 Bromley Ave., Scranton, PA 18504, to be officiated by the Rev. Harrison Putnam, pastor.
